Meet our Head Chef
The Wildebeest Head Chef, Fabio Miani, is proud to be a Norfolk Chef of the Year finalist. Italian born, with a passion for cooking inspired by his father, he looks to continue to develop his own skills and to support his kitchen team in their development.
Fabio grew up watching his father cook at home for the family, experimenting with new recipes and making new dishes using produce from the family garden. At the age of 15 he knew he wanted to be a Chef and was lucky enough to study at the prestigious Istituto Erminio Maggia, one of the very best Catering Colleges of Professional Cookery in the north of Italy. He moved to England aged 18 and joined The Wildebeest in July 2018 as Senior Sous Chef and is now Head Chef.
He loves working with Norfolk produce and under the guidance of Chef Patron Daniel Smith he continues to be committed and dedicated, to increase his knowledge and develop his skill set allowing him to further advance his career.
